This book caught my attention in the first chapter and kept me turning pages to the very end. I am so disappointed in Tracie Peterson's writing in this book, as her other works have been great. JCB had an intriguing life for sure, but I definitely would not recommend it for the feint of heart (or those who have a normal constitution), lol. I hope this series goes on as long as Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey/Maturin one. Practical joker s all, there always seemed to be a complication happening to someone. Shani has just spent the last part of summer vacation hanging out at Lissa's place. The only problem with this book is when it was written.
