I am a long-time fan of John Rosemond, and I read his books about raising children when my oldest was a toddler. It comes in a two-book set, one covering the characters and the other covering the plot. I am aware that it is not perfect. I love this series and this book isn't any different. Despite these known influences, the singularity of Blake's work makes him difficult to classify. Amanda Maxlyn was able to write a story so well with the subject matter that is involved. I would not recommend it to readers with flaky linear algebra backgrounds, however. Good recipes easy 2 make.
