. I expected a sort of tell all rant of a book but instead I got a very well written and honest chronicle of the life and death of a idea. The author covers every topic necessary to successfully market your book; from promotion, presentation, the pitfalls to avoid, excellent advice on that all-embracing publicity aspect. I love the characters Grundar and Calypso, their story is heartwarming. According to appearances, Pietr Orlov’s death was a natural one. Overall, THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE CURSED was everything I hoped for and more. Disapponted-Some good material but any book on film music and does not even mentionRAINTREE COUNTY by Johnny Green or DIANE (1956)-Rozsa, HAWAII (Elmer Bernstein)and so many other great scores and then mentions some very questionable ones has tobe disappointing. why not give both the book and the film a chance.
