Have to admit, however, that not only am I a truly lover of Christian Fiction . Hugh De Luc goes to war to fight for a better world, only to be disillusioned by the violence. Fortunately, I was kept guessing until the end and was pleasantly surprised. Determination to find their killers keeps him going, but after three years of dead ends and torment, his hope is dying too. I also appreciated that scripture, and references to prayer and church attendance were so appropriately and gently woven into the story. This is the first book in the Robert Langdon novels and has to do with religious scholar history and symbology throughout but now in a boring way at all I assure you. Working in Chicago with nonprofits and the social sector, I am always searching for content discussing the challenges and potential solutions we face as an industry. We meet Cly in Boneshaker and it was fun to read more about him. Written as a reflective memoir of a man we meet initially upon his release from prison, the story traces back to his circumstances prior to his imprisonment in surprising ways. I'd highly recommend all of his books, they are so different and yet so absolutely fabulous.
