. I love the way he thinks and am looking forward to more books in the series. There was nothing spectacular about her other than the past she overcame, and that seemed too ridiculous to be credible. It kept my attention and gave me pleasure while reading. This is the first JAK book that I've read in quite a while because I often wind up being disappointed by them. I am giving four stars for an interesting story that covers issues that happens every day somewhere in the world. Just read them , enjoy them. She does know how to write a steamy scene with characters that you come to really care about and always includes the HEA that makes you want more. Charging so much for such a small, simple book just doesn't seem right. I mention this because I was concerned about whether I could believe anything in the book, considering it supposedly details covert intelligence operations from the not too distant past. Who knows - your next get together could become a sewing retreat or a trip to a quilt show. Fabulous, absolutely positively fabulous.
